Project Management

• Full responsibility for day-to-day running of projects
• Full accountability for project delivery
• Undertake commercial discussions with client in respect of project scope changes and identification of needs for Change Control documentation
• Define and manage all project communication with customers and act as a focal point for all communication
• Manage the delivery of bespoke software, client specific software and core product enhancements
• Manage the resources, time and deliverables of the project
• Ensure that all contractual deliveries are met and escalate issues promptly
• Accountable to EMEA management for delivery of projects to customer satisfaction and the Company’s commercial requirements for resource use and timescale
• Lead project teams through implementation, satisfying agreed deliverables
• Deliver best practice and meet core objectives of the Project Delivery Group
• Manage client evaluation projects and pilots, including workshops and demonstrations
• Support pre-sales processes by advising on Project Management related issues during client meetings, presentations and other support in the bid process

Essential Requirements

• Graduate in a numerate, business, scientific or engineering discipline
• Financial services experience, ideally as a Project Manager implementing financial applications within a Front/Middle Office environment
• Demonstrable commercial experience of managing complex projects
• Prior management of fixed price contracts

• Working knowledge of the various financial markets and products including Capital Markets, Money Markets, Derivatives and Equities

• Project management qualifications
• Systems house, financial institution or consulting background

• Experience or exposure to Market or Credit Risk Management systems
• Able to multi task and run various projects at different stages in the life cycle
• PC literate, familiar with desktop applications, possibly has some programming experience
• Keen to travel and work on customer sites
• Other foreign language skills
