Oracle Consultant – Supply Chain & Operations
 
Join a leading Oracle solutions team – focussing on providing independent advice across all aspects of supply chain (Procurement, Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, Warehousing & Inventory Management and Plant Maintenance). This is your opportunity to be involved with full lifecycle projects working with on some of the largest and highest profile Oracle Supply Chain implementations in the market.

We offer exceptional learning opportunities on the job - you’ll be working closely with the Senior Management of the firm (CIMA, CIPS, CPIM, DPIM qualified) which will enable you to benefit from their strengths in both Supply Chain and Logistics, and the technology that underpins these processes
 
You’ll work in cross-functional teams, with colleagues from our wider Enterprise solutions group, as well as Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance. This will enhance your learning opportunities and multiply your career options.
 
The role involves:
 
  • defining and articulating client requirements, working with clients to help them understand where improvements could be made within a given business process
  • proposing multiple scenarios and solutions to address these areas of improvement
  • working with a team to implement the agreed solutions
  • development of Supply Chain process training material and delivery of training
 
 
To qualify, you must have:
 
  • been part of a project lifecycle, preferable from scoping and planning through to post go live support
  • taken part in a detailed business process analysis project (‘As Is’ definition) and provided recommendations for the future process
  • deep knowledge of at least one module of Oracle (e.g. iProcurement, Purchasing, AME, Inventory, Order management, Advanced supply chain planning (ASCP), procurement contracts, Oracle sourcing).
  • configured Oracle in the above module and understand the integration with other modules of Oracle 
  • had some exposure to business case development within a business process
  • an understanding of the change management issues that will effect implementation projects and how to manage these through the project
