We are looking for a Manager to lead and develop our technical architecture capability working alongside our highly successful Financial Services Practice. Working alongside the Senior Managers and Directors you will have the opportunity to shape the group across both competency focus and industry alignment.

Strategy - Technical Architect - Financial Services
 
We are looking for a Manager to lead and develop our technical architecture capability working alongside our highly successful Financial Services Practice. 
 
Working alongside Senior Managers and Directors you will have the opportunity to shape the group across both competency focus and industry alignment. You will be involved in winning new business, leading major engagements and advising high level organisations to achieve their objectives.
 
The role requires an individual who has deep technical expertise in a Financial Services framework, significant experience of managing and developing technical teams, experience of involvement in major sales (acting as a technical advisor/lead in the sales process) and delivery of significant engagements, in a technical lead role.
 
Variety, complexity & Innovation
 
As a Manager, we would expect this individual to:
 
  • Lead Financial Services architecture and strategy engagements
  • Play a significant role in the shaping, sale and delivery of major implementations
  • Develop and work with an internal and external contact network to develop new opportunities, and foster and grow Financial Services capabilities amongst EA professionals. 
  • Evidence of business development and sales
  • Evidence of strong long term client relationships
 
Experience in the Financial Services sector is essential and, as is proven capability in translating business needs into technical architecture.
 
Ideally undergraduate degree or equivalent from reputable university
  • Full travel mobility
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Demonstrated wide array of capabilities from strategic (thought leadership and selling) to tactical (delivery and problem solving)
  • Strong team lead experience                     
  • Able to collaborate with clients and offer solutions for business problems
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience conducting performance reviews and coaching staff
  • Further developing an already established network of external contacts that can be leveraged in the sales process
