This is an opportunity to join an offshore audit team which is part of Deloitte's wider UK audit practice.  With consistent growth over the last year, the UK audit team at Deloitte is expanding and creating new opportunities for talented individuals.  Your work will include a mixture of audit projects, completing audit field work, due diligence, staff development and working with high profile financial service clients.

As an Assistant Manager you will:
 
  • Facilitate the completion of audit field work
  • Manage the audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
  • Ensure completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales
  • Budget time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget
  • Draft final documents for review by manager and partner
  • Participate in due diligence or other transaction support engagements
  • Draft accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IAS
  • Supervise and support less experienced staff
To be considered you must possess:
  • ACA qualified / or equivalent
  • Prior exposure to financial service clients
  • Strong academic background
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in audit
  • Experience of managing and servicing clients
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
