ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives) Quantitative Strategist
ETD resides within the Equities Division and is part of the Prime Services business organisation. ETD provides clearing and execution services to external clients including corporates / institutions, intermediaries, governments and hedge funds, as well as to members of the UBS Group. ETD operates in multiple locations across the globe providing seamless front-to-back solutions with 24 hour access to the world's financial markets.
We are looking for an ETD Strategist to join the highly successful London ETD team for the EMEA Region and to work closely with one other Strategist and the Sales and Trading teams.
Your job will give you the opportunity to work closely with one other strategist to provide the sales and trading teams, as well as external clients, with market-driven fundamental and quantitative trade ideas, and bespoke models.
Your job will involve you taking ownership for covering developed exchange markets in EMEA, primarily for European listed interest rate contracts. You will be expected to liaise with your colleagues to generate cross market opportunities and produce regular volatility analysis, quarterly roll research, and seasonal trends. You will be responsible for creating complex strategic models, especially focused on listed options and present them to external clients or sales and trading team.
You will need to currently be a Strategist with client facing experience working within a sales, trading, research or economics role along with relevant, communication, presentation and quantitative skills.
You will be able to demonstrate core skills in quantitative model building and analysis and posses advanced excel and visual basic knowledge. You will be required to have excellent written presentation skills as trade ideas and have strong influencing and communication skills.
