Since the fund are long only relevant experience includes corporate investment grade bonds, high yield and leveraged loans. Credit derivative research experience is not relevant.

The team take a bottom up view of each credit they research and the right candidate will have demonstrable proof of exemplary analytical skills, financial modelling, and research that will allow them to add value from the beginning. The team are intimately involved in the credit investment process and an awareness of relative value will be favourable.

The ideal junior candidate will need:

• Excellent fundamental fixed income research skills
• Relevant credit research experience from buy/sell side or rating agency
• Strong academic pedigree
• Ability to present and defend investment ideas to portfolio managers

The successful senior researcher will have:

• Sector experience across Industrials, Consumer or Capital Goods (TMT, Utilities and Energy are currently well covered by the team)
• Proved track record of high quality research from a leading financial institution
• Experience of both investment grade and high yield credit research
• Ability to lead a junior analyst
