Global Investment Solutions Strategist

The Global Investment Solutions (GIS) Team focuses on areas including asset allocation, risk management, currency, structured products, portfolio construction for institutional and private clients, manager research, and investment analytics. The strategists, consisting of investment analysts and portfolio managers are responsible for the decision-making relating to asset and currency allocations, manager selection, and investment risk capital allocation for all investment portfolios. They also advise institutional clients on strategic asset allocation, policy analysis, risk management, portfolio construction, and security selection alpha opportunities. Together with client relationship managers, they develop appropriate solutions acting as consultative advisors.

There is an increasing demand from clients for holistic portfolios, achieving desired risk and return targets. You will be responsible for representing our capabilities to clients and prospects particularly in security selection alpha evaluation, in the UK and in EMEA. You will play a significant part in contributing to portfolio management and research of multi-managed portfolios by possessing sufficient knowledge of UK/Pan European capabilities and assessing feasibility of business opportunities for multi-managed portfolios. You will work closely with your team members in product development that incorporates security selection alpha as an alpha source.

You will currently have the relevant working experience within asset management or from a consultancy background, preferably with strong manager research exposure. You will need to have an in-depth analytical skill-set holding a CFA qualification and be a strong communicator.
