Global Investment Bank seeks a Front Office Developer/Risk Manager possessing 1-2 year experience, and exceptional programming skills (Java, C, C++ or other major language). Ideal candidate will have experience with statistical packages, and have strong DBA skills. This individual must have come from a top scientific, engineering or financial math academic program (undergraduate or graduate level). This position supports cross-asset systematic trading. Candidate will maintain and update code base/ensure it is as efficient as possible. Oversee all databases/database connectivity, etc. Help oversee the design and running of the risk review process for all new research/strategies. Provide and analyse daily and intra-day risk reports for the trading book. Seeking a top quality Developer who has ambitions over time to become a successful quantitative strategist/trader. Strong interest in quantitative finance desirable.
